Educators hold an extremely near and dear place in my heart! I was a middle school music teacher for fifteen years (administrator for 5) and I will tell you that teachers are some of the most overworked, under-valued assets in society. I love the aspect of changing lives but do not agree with the constraints, conditions, and poor decision making that wastes many teachers hours. Especially when teachers have highly valuable and transferable skills and the ability to TEACH (which allows you to teach others to do what you do and make more impact).
